The third issue of our literary magazine Yidishland is available in the store. A mighty double issue with 113 pages packed with wonderful stories, poems, songs etc, and we are dedicating it to the old Yiddish art of interpretation. This issue’s writers have brought new life to texts in Russian, English, French, Swedish, Ukrainian, Japanese and Polish (to name a few) by translating them to mame-loshn. We are bringing you Yiddish versions of the works of a wide range of world renowned writers like Marina Tsvetaeva, Daniil Kharms, Dovid Knut, Lev Lunts, Osip Mandelstam, Charles Dickens and Meir Shalev, as well as writers you might’ve never heard of before. All in the name of interpretation!
